Welding Students Explore Career Opportunities with MAS Metals |
|
| |
MAS Metals, Inc., a Union City-based custom metal fabrication company and one of the fastest-growing firms in Northern California, recently reached out to Chabot's Career Center with an offer to connect with Welding graduates seeking employment and to provide surplus steel and other resources that could support welding instruction and student practice.
As part of this growing partnership, MAS Metals welcomed twelve Welding students and full-time Welding faculty, Dave Vetrano, for a tour of their fabrication facility. Students had the opportunity to learn about the company's operations and submit their resumes directly to company representatives. Opportunities like these help strengthen the connection between Chabot and local businesses while expanding employment prospects for students. |
